Half of the ticket proceeds will go toward supporting Esplanade’s community engagement programmes which bring the arts to at-risk youth, the elderly, people with special needs and other underserved communities.

Nan Hua High School Choir

Since its inception in 1998, the Nan Hua High School Choir has performed on several stages and events both in Singapore and overseas. The choir has consistently achieved good results at the Singapore Youth Festival, with its latest accolade being the Certificate of Distinction in 2023.

 

The choir made a notable achievement when it received an invitation to participate in Esplanade’s Limelight series in 2017. Seeking to touch the hearts of the community, the choir performed at events such as Our People, Our Music at Singapore Sports Hub’s opening, shared the stage with local xinyao singers at Here's Where I Belong SG50 Concert, held its own concert Voix de la Star at the Victoria Concert Hall in 2016, and was even invited to sing at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2014. At the London College of Music Examinations, the choir was awarded a high distinction in 2017, and attained a full marks distinction in 2019. With its fiery passion and commitment to the craft, the choir aspires to grow from strength to strength, bringing choral singing to audiences in the community and the world.
