This concert brings together beloved hits and iconic classics that have touched generations, including Like a Swallow《如燕》by Olivia Ong—a classic theme song from Channel 8 drama The Little Nyonya, Wife《家后》and Farewell Seaside《惜别的海岸》. 

 

Relive cherished memories or discover these golden-era tunes for the first time in an afternoon filled with nostalgia, emotion and connection. Don’t miss this intimate celebration of the enduring magic of Mandarin pop.

VENTUS is a wind ensemble formed in 2022 by the non-profit arts organisation Ventus Music Ltd. 

 

VENTUS is Latin for “wind”, and it is a love for this very genre of music—wind music—that unites their musicians. The members of VENTUS come from all walks of life. Their experiences with music are diverse, ranging from hobbyists and professionals to students and educators. Yet they share the same belief: that music can evoke, educate and empower when pursued with excellence.
