Synopsis
This parent-child workshop will introduce you to the powerful movements and cultural richness of silat, from its practical techniques to the beauty of its intricate, traditional attire. As you learn, you’ll gain a deeper connection to the history and cultural significance of the art form by experiencing its essence firsthand.
The workshop will be led by former national athletes, Raden Iskandar, a Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and World Championship competitor, and Zahid Saaban, a 2001 SEA Games gold medallist.
