Pelangi Budaya presents two sets of dances and music celebrating Malay and Indonesian cultural traditions. The first opens with Tari Persembahan, a welcoming dance that expresses hospitality, followed by a creative take on zapin, group dances and the song Anugerah Kepri.

The second set explores dance traditions from across Indonesia through Tarian Nusantara and Tari Mak Inang Pulau Kampai, alongside a performance of the song Zapin Melayu. It culminates in Joget Lambak, a lively Malay social dance that invites audiences to join in. Together, the performances highlight the grace, rhythms and creativity of these traditions, and the ways they continue to evolve.

Muara Festival is presented by Era Dance Theatre in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay as part of Esplanade’s Pentas series.
