Synopsis

Created by students and recent graduates from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film & Media Studies, this showcase presents a curated selection of short films across narrative and documentary forms. Through diverse storytelling approaches, the films offer a window into the voices and perspectives of emerging filmmakers as they explore everyday experiences, relationships and the world around them with curiosity and sincerity.

Synopsis: Jayden seeks revenge on his young uncle, Wei Jie, after he accidentally breaks his beloved toy train. But as he executes his plan to expose Wei Jie's darker side, he grapples with the weight of guilt for his actions.

Synopsis: Liz is at the top of her classes. But what happens when she gets tied with Daniel, a nobody? How far will her determination and obsession take her in bringing him down?

Synopsis: This documentary is about an ex-convict and how he got out of his dark past. It shows the struggles of change and the perseverance he had to change for the better for his family and a chance for a new life.

Producer: Koh Ya Wen
Synopsis: Pasar Malam, Singapore's Night Market, faces a precarious future as we uncover stories hidden beneath the bustling noise and delicious smell of delicacies.

When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.
