One Pulse, Many Forms
Synopsis
NUS Chinese Dance presents an evening that celebrates a myriad of Chinese dance expressions across folk, classical and contemporary, all presented on one shared stage.
Rooted in tradition yet shaped by the present, this programme reflects a living lineage of movement—where cultural memory flows through diverse bodies, forms and intentions. Guided by tutors Ms Jenny Neo and Ms Xiao Jing, the dancers explore how a single pulse of heritage can unfold into many voices, revealing the richness and adaptability of Chinese dance across generations.
