Synopsis

After four years of performing together at events, Karyn and Sheng Li are thrilled to perform at the Esplanade Concourse in their first-ever public duo showcase. This special debut strips everything back to a soulful, acoustic setting, featuring Karyn on keys and vocals alongside Sheng Li on guitar and vocals.

 

Enjoy a specially curated selection of Singapore Mandopop favourites from the '90s to 2000s in a chill and relaxed session that celebrates the music of Singapore. These are the songs they grew up with.

As a rising star in the entertainment industry, Karyn's experience include hosting radio shows on Mediacorp LOVE972 and anchor host for Battle of the Buskers, which earned her a nomination at the Star Awards 2024. On the big screen, she also acted in Jack Neo’s movie Ah Girls Go Army, and creatively reimagined several songs by writing her own original lyrics.

 

Sheng Li, more well known as “guitarstreet”, fell in love with performing through busking. Recognised for his mesmerizing vocals and exceptional guitar skills, his career gained traction after winning UFM100.3's inaugural busking competition, clinching the title of "Busk King".
