Esplanade Concourse
Is it possible to be nostalgic for an era that you never lived in? Taiwanese-Canadian indie singer-songwriter Anie Fann wants to know.
Always having had an affinity to songs of the 70's and 80's, Anie adores both the intimate storytelling style and big sweeping melodies from these time periods.
Performing beloved classics from The Carpenters, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper and other iconic music artists, Anie will be covering the oh-so-familar tunes that are constantly being rediscovered by later generations and that continue to provide the soundtrack for our lives.

Anie Fann is a Taiwanese-Canadian singer-songwriter and producer known for her bright-eyed introspective voice, and intimate, playful storytelling. Her cerebral indie pop style of music is poetic, cinematic, and yet, approachable, often revolving around themes of quiet rebellion and the exploration of self. She draws inspiration from fiercely honest female songwriters such as Sara Bareilles, Imogen Heap and Joni Mitchell.
