Embark on a voyage into The McNally Abyss, an immersive sonic expedition presented by the LASALLE graduating class of 2026. This performance invites the audience on a deep-sea descent, navigating the fluid intersection of aquatic krautrock and expansive ambient soundscapes. In this showcase, student collectives Phase IV and Super Mega Crunch push the boundaries of electronic synthesis to chart uncharted sonic territories. By leveraging their diverse individual strengths to formulate a cohesive underwater sound, the ensemble captures a haunting synergy of rhythmic sonar pings and liquid melodies—a pivotal exploration in the artists' evolving creative paths.
