KULCHA is a Singapore-based fusion outfit crafting contemporary world music with deep Asian roots. Fusing traditional instruments—Chinese pipa, Indian bansuri, Indonesian angklung, and Middle Eastern gambus—with modern grooves and textures, the band creates a sound that is raw, layered, and unmistakably current. Through original compositions and reworked traditions, KULCHA interrogates ideas of heritage, identity, and belonging—asking what culture means in a fast-moving, urban world, and what it takes to claim something as our own.
