(Intermission: None)
DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at Esplanade
mattgnaw & Herbibie operate within the dynamic world of electroacoustic sound, blending organic instrumentation with electronic textures. Through years of collaboration, they have developed a shared language rooted in improvisation and experimentation. Their performances unfold as evolving sonic journeys, shaped in real time through intricate effects processing, and an expansive array of synthesisers. By attentively responding to each other’s ideas, they create layered soundscapes that balance tension and release, resulting in immersive emotionally powerful experiences that draw listeners fully into their pieces.
