Chew Lixian
Chew Lixian is a versatile musician proficient in both Chinese and Western music. Her journey began with classical piano, eventually receiving a Ministry of Education Teaching (Overseas) Scholarship to study at the University of Manchester.
Parallel to her Western training, Lixian has become a prominent sheng player. Her achievements include winning first prize in the Sheng Open Category of the 2016 National Chinese Music Competition and performing with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. Committed to cross-cultural collaboration, she recently participated in Silkroad’s Global Musician Workshop in Hangzhou, performing alongside legends like Wu Man and Mike Block.

SUREE
SUREE is an award-winning yangqin musician and vocalist with a passion for musical collaboration across diverse genres and performance settings. She is also a member of The Voices of Singapore Ladies Choir (VSL), which made history at the 16th International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music in Bratislava in December 2023 by winning the prestigious Grand Prix for Overall Best Choir. Her performance experience includes large-scale productions such as Final Fantasy, Elden Ring, and The Nutcracker with Symphonia Choralis. In 2026, she also collaborated with resident artiste Vick Low at National Gallery Singapore as part of Light to Night Singapore.
Yvonne Teo
An award-winning pianist, composer, and educator, Yvonne bridges Western and Asian musical traditions through improvisation, storytelling and sonic atmosphere. Her musical language draws on liturgical music, cinematic writing, folk traditions, and experimental textures—shaped by early classical training and later studies in jazz and film scoring at Berklee College of Music.
Her work spans concert music, film, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is also the founder of Ilvrant, a music edutech initiative exploring new approaches to music, cognition and creativity, and a member of The TENG Ensemble, where she continues to explore contemporary possibilities within Asian and intercultural music-making.
