Dwi Naad – Sounds of the Classical Indian Flute

A multi-award-winning artist, Niranjan produces, performs and directs ensembles and orchestras. Renowned for his mastery of bamboo flutes, he performs on the bansuri for Dwi Naad. Niranjan has performed extensively as both a soloist and ensemble musician, making him one of the most sought-after bamboo flutists in the region. 

A Carnatic flute student of the Nrithyalaya Aesthetics Society (NAS) since the age of 10, Vishnu has performed regularly at NAS programmes and at temples during festivals, such as Navarathri. In 2011, he joined the NUS Indian Instrumental Ensemble, collaborating with esteemed composers including Kanniks Kannikeswaran and Dr. L. Subramaniam. In 2015, he was awarded a Diploma in Music from NAS.

Shouri began learning the tabla at the age of 11 under Shri K Dattatray at the Nrityalaya Aesthetics Society (NAS). He further trained under Shri Jatinder Singh at the NUS Indian Instrumental Ensemble and, most recently, under Shri Nawaz Mirajkar at the Temple of Fine Arts. Shouri continues to play the tabla in collaborative and community settings.
