Duets with Keys and Strings is a unique program curated by three Singapore-based artists: pianist Kseniia Vokhmianina and violinists Lynette Lim and Ani Umedyan. The concert will feature piano solos by Singaporean composer Kelly Tang and French composer Maurice Ravel as well as violin duets by Reinhold Gliere along with violin and piano compositions by Komitas and Aram Khachaturian — an enchanting repertoire for a special evening.

The performances in Cool Classics 2025 will spotlight local composers and arrangers, highlighting their contributions to classical music in Singapore. The local composer featured in this programme is Kelly Tang.
Kseniia Vokhmianina
Kseniia Vokhmianina is a renowned pianist known for her virtuosic musicianship. A graduate of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal College of Music, she has performed internationally at venues like Esplanade, Steinway Gallery and Seoul Arts Centre. Vokhmianina's accolades include "Best Graduate" awards and a Masters in Music with distinction from Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. She has also studied at Zurich University of the Arts under Prof. Konstantin Scherbakov.
Lynette Lim
Lynette Lim is one of Singapore's leading violin pedagogues, with over 30 years of experience shaping the next generation of musicians. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, she was awarded the prestigious Performer’s Certificate at 20 and later earned a Master of Music from Indiana University under Josef Gingold. She has taught at Eastman, LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where she made significant contributions to the development of string education.
Ani Umedyan
Ani Umedyan began her violin studies at Armenia’s esteemed Music School under professor Paris Yerkanyan. Admitted to the R. Melikyan Music College in 1995, she earned a full scholarship to the Yerevan State Conservatory in 1999. She graduated in 2004 with a Master’s degree in solo violin and chamber music. Ani has performed widely across Armenia, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, collaborating with renowned musicians such as Philippe Graffin, Maria Egelhoff and Levon Chilingirian. She is a sought-after guest artist and co-founder of the Armenian Heritage Ensemble in Singapore, where she has taught violin since 2008.
