Synopsis

Chelle & Ailouros presents original songs and multilingual poetry exploring coming-of-age in Singapore and Australia, and life in Japan. Enjoy both original and improvised music tapestries inspired by nature and culture, and go behind-the-scenes of their collaboration through dialogue and demonstration. Gain insights into the the confluence of language, identity, family and universal human experience in their cross-genre work. Catch the premiere of the poem The Ocean Blue 《 蔚蓝的海洋》, written and performed in English, Mandarin and Teochew by poet Michelle C, with Mandarin translation by literary translator, Christina Ng and music by composers Eugene Ang and Alvin Wong.
