Strangers meet all the time, in all kinds of places. A simple encounter can blossom into friendship, ignite a steamy romance, seal a once-in-a-lifetime business deal or even unravel into conflict.
What could possibly unfold when muted characters in larval masks meet in a hospital? Don’t miss this hilarious yet moving non-verbal mask performance—an exploration of what happens when strangers meet.

Grace Kalaiselvi
Grace Kalaiselvi is an independent theatre actor, director, educator and writer. An alumna of the Intercultural Theatre Institute in Singapore, she hopes to create more works representing suppressed and minority groups through her exploration of masks and puppetry. Working in both English and Tamil languages, she creates a range of works suitable for young audiences, teenagers and adults.
Her recent works include Invisible for The Necessary Stage, Liberation - Viduthalai for the National Gallery Singapore, For a Better Future and Wrap Me Tight for the Children’s Museum Singapore, and Shapes Dance and Battle and What’s My Story? for Esplanade.
