Kane Teo is a passionate and versatile choral conductor and tenor with extensive experience in vocal education, both in Singapore and London. He holds a Choral Conducting Licentiate Diploma from the London College of Music (UWL) and a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the Royal Academy of Music (UoL).
Ever committed to delivering choral excellence, Kane has led choirs like Catholic High School and Victoria School to win SYF Distinction Awards, among other achievements. He has also put Singapore on the world choral stage with his numerous experiences, including conducting Anderson Serangoon Junior College Choir at the Asia Cantate International Choral Festival.
Kane is actively involved in the local choral scene as a music educator, serving as choir conductor at Catholic High School (Primary), APSN Chao Yang School and Yishun Town Secondary School. He is also an Assistant Conductor at Victoria School. Additionally, Kane shares his expertise as a voice tutor at the National University of Singapore Centre for the Arts and as a voice teacher and lecturer at Singapore Raffles Music College.
Beyond his roles in educational institutions, Kane is a vocal coach for Singapore Choral Artist and an assistant conductor for The Vocal Consort. He also brings his artistic flair to the stage as a tenor soloist, with notable performances including roles in Bizet's Carmen and Mozart's Don Giovanni. Kane is fluent in English and Chinese, and also sings in Italian, French, German, Latin, and Russian.
