This immersive session explores the art of creating functional music—music that serves a purpose beyond performance. Participants will dive into techniques for interpreting emotion, gesture, and movement into musical expressions. From theatrical underscoring to dance accompaniment, the workshop offers practical tools for composing with intention and sensitivity. Ideal for composers, choreographers, and dancers, this workshop encourages collaboration across art forms and provides a space for developing music that responds organically to the human experience.
Led by experienced artists, the session blends theory, live demonstration, and group interaction to deepen understanding of music as a dynamic and functional medium.
Please meet at the Theatre Studio, Level 4, 15 minutes before the start of the workshop. Thank you.
Participants will be seated on the floor.
