Join two of Singapore's finest musicians—tenor saxophonist Sean Hong Wei and pianist Jeremy Monteiro—for a memorable evening of timeless jazz standards and original compositions, performed in an intimate duo setting. The evening will also feature tracks from their album, The New Jersey Sessions, released in January 2024, which includes renowned artists Jay Anderson, Evan Sherman, and special guests Alex Sipiagin and Houston Person.

Born and raised in Singapore, Sean Hong Wei has established himself as one of the leading figures of his generation in the Singapore jazz scene. A saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and a long-time member of the Jazz Association of Singapore Orchestra (JASS), Sean is currently based in New York. He has performed alongside jazz greats such as Reggie Workman, Billy Hart, and Billy Harper at the 2nd Annual John Coltrane Festival, and with the Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars Big Band led by John Lee at Blue Note New York. His debut album The New Jersey Sessions, recorded with his mentor, Singaporean pianist Jeremy Monteiro, was released in January 2024. The album features Jay Anderson, Evan Sherman, and special guests Alex Sipiagin and Houston Person.
Jeremy Monteiro
Dubbed “Singapore’s King of Swing,” Jeremy Monteiro has garnered critical acclaim worldwide since 1988, when he made history as the first Southeast Asian to lead a band of renowned international jazz musicians on the main stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival, performing as Monteiro, Young & Holt and Friends. Jeremy has been supported as an international touring and recording artist by EFG Bank since 2008. Since 2012, he has also served as the International Arts Ambassador for EFG Bank, headquartered in Switzerland, and a sponsor of one of the world’s most prominent jazz festivals, the EFG London Jazz Festival.
