SWS City Swing

The Singapore Wind Symphony (SWS) City Swing Big Band was formed in 2009. With a diverse repertoire spanning jazz, swing, Latin, pop, rock and roll, City Swing has made its mark in Singapore’s big band scene. Their repertoire also includes pieces performed in different languages, including Malay and Chinese alongside English.

 

Under the direction of musical director, Mr Subronto Saaban Hardjo, who regularly arranges new material, the band keeps its repertoire fresh and relevant for its audiences. 

 

City Swing has performed at a variety of venues and events, including public spaces such as Merlion Plaza at Sentosa, Festive Plaza at Our Tampines Hub, Wisma Geylang Serai, as well as hotel ballrooms and Esplanade.
