Synopsis

Join Claris and Vanessa in a cheeky musical revue where they reimagine crowd favourite musical theatre songs with a twist. Through humor and heart, these two actresses share the realities of casting—roles they’ll never play, the what-ifs, and the unexpected ups and downs of the industry. Expect witty stories, heartfelt moments, and hits from Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and more—all with a twist. Part musical, part confessional, all in good fun!

Claris is an actor, singer and vocal coach. She has performed for local theatre companies including Wild Rice, Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) and Gateway Arts, as well as with Sensorium Theatre in Australia, and Teman Musikal Nusantara in Indonesia! A multi-hyphenate creative, Claris is also one of the co-founders of Zip Zap Zoom Collective.

Named Singapore’s “rising theatre star” by The Straits Times (2024), Vanessa is proud to be a locally born and bred theatre actress. She recently became the first Singaporean to voice Belle in Disney’s official Beauty and the Beast Film-To-Concert. Some recent notable leading credits include Susan in Tick…Tick…Boom! (Sightlines Co.), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Sing’theatre), Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (SRT), to name a few.
