Mistranslations from a Future Vernacular
Synopsis
Mistranslations from a Future Vernacular is a poetry and audio accompaniment performance devised by poet Daryl Lim Wei Jie and audiovisual maker Lynette Quek. The show will feature Daryl reading his poetic work alongside an audio performance by Lynette. The performance advances themes arising from Daryl's latest collection of experimental poetry, Mistranslations from a Future Vernacular, exploring how these (mis)adventures can be extended to the auditory realm.
