Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre’s annual nationwide outreach event, Chinese Dance Fiesta, returns to Esplanade for its 11th edition. 

Celebrate the beauty and diversity of Chinese dance and culture with captivating performances by dancers from schools, community groups and professional companies, presented across two exciting evenings.   

Each evening will feature different performances by various groups:    

8 May, Fri – Watch young dancers from primary and secondary schools light up the stage.   

9 May, Sat – Support homegrown performance troupes and companies in a joyous celebration of Chinese dance.

Dive deeper into Chinese classical dance with the  kunwumaster series,  led by Professor Ma Jiaiqin, first-class choreographer from China and the creator of kunwu, one of the four major styles of Chinese classical dance. The series features two workshops,  an Introductory Dance Workshop, Intensive Dance Workshop as well as two Talk & Demonstration sessions.
