Hidemen is a group of close friends from secondary school who united after realising their shared passion for music and art. The group comprises frontmen mattgnaw, lamin, and Wira Munir, supported by Ra’uf Shibel. While rooted in hip-hop, Hidemen pushes the boundaries of the genre by infusing songs with unconventional sounds and other genre inspirations.

In 2026, the group returned with the 10-track album DRAGON, establishing themselves as creative world builders, drawing from medieval role-playing themed games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Baldur’s Gate 3 to create a unique sonic universe. Storytelling lies at the core of the album, with narratives interwoven throughout while genres shift through one another. Lyrically, Hidemen explores themes of a brighter yet unpredictable future, embracing emotion amid uncertainty.
