Dabda
Synopsis
Dabda is a Seoul-based math rock-inspired quartet comprising Kim Jiae (vocals/guitar), Lee Seunghyeon (drums), Park Jungwoong (guitar) and Noh Keohyeon (bass). Formed in 2014, the band has built a sound they describe as “Pastel Psychedelic”, pairing poetic, dream-like lyricism with math rock’s trademark intricate, shifting time signatures.
Since their 2016 debut EP Island of Each, the band have released the acclaimed full-length But, All the Shining Things Are (2020) and EP Yonder (2023) and collaborated with Japanese post-rock icons toe on the single Jungle Gym (2021).
