Synopsis

Little hands will squish, and little feet will wiggle
Little eyes will glow, and little mouths will giggle!

This December, step into PIP’s PLAYbox for a special, multi-sensory performance created for crawlers and toddlers—happening on select days and times!

All ages are also welcome to join us anytime during PLAYbox’s opening hours to enjoy the vibrant, shimmering textile art on display, and to participate in a fun, self-paced crafting activity. The textile art exhibition will be on display from 3 – 31 Dec 2025 at PLAYbox.

Featuring actor Jasmine Blundell, music by composer Bennett Bay, fabric collages by students of E-Bridge Pre-School, and creative direction by Natalia Tan.

Please read the following information carefully before attending your selected session:

Please choose the show that best suits your child. The 9.30am show is designed for infants and pre-walkers. The 10.30am and 11.30am shows are suitable for toddlers up to 7 years old.
Parents / caregivers are responsible for the health and safety of their child / children and are reminded to be mindful of the safety and well-being of others in the space.
No unauthorised photography or videography is allowed during the performance, except where otherwise stated. This helps minimise distractions and ensures the privacy of all our little participants.
Please note this performance has a limited capacity of 20 pax per session. PLAYbox visitors are welcome to engage with the exhibition and craft activity outside of the performance timings.

Pre-registration is required for this programme.
Walk-in is allowed if there are slots available. Please register at the entrance to PIP’s PLAYbox. Every human, big or small, needs to be registered, including infant-in-arms.
Registration is open to all Esplanade&Me members. If you’re not a member yet, please sign up for your free Esplanade&Me Discover membership ahead of your visit.
Entry is only for children accompanied by adults.
Slots are limited. In the event, maximum capacity is reached, only one adult per child may be admitted.

Natalia Tan is a Singaporean artist, co-founder of the Singapore Eco Arts Festival, and Fellow of the Artistic Directors Academy at T:>Works. Rooted in a lifelong commitment to environmental conservation, Natalia’s practice centres on themes of regeneration, repair, and creative reuse. Her ideas often take form through socially engaged, participatory projects that immerse audiences in spaces where collective imagination, multi-sensory play, and co-creation using salvaged waste materials may emerge.

Bennett Bay

Bennett Bay is a Singaporean-born musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist whose sound is inspired by the chirping of birds, gusts of wind and the colour of the sky. Since 2015, he has been writing and performing original music, and has released three albums, Compass (2017), In Memory Of (2018), and For Better Tomorrows (2023), as well as an EP titled Little Old Town (2020). His music has taken him to various festivals across the globe, most notably Neon Lights (Singapore, 2015), Electric Picnic (Ireland, 2017) and LUCFest (Taiwan, 2022).
