Synopsis

The SING60 Gala Concert, presented by Voices of Singapore (VOS), celebrates 60 years of choral music in Singapore. Featuring singers from the VOS Choral Society, the concert brings together a wide spectrum of ensembles including youth and professional groups, seniors, special needs choirs and community singers. This diversity reflects both the richness of our choral landscape and the spirit of our nation.

 

Audiences will journey through Singapore’s musical identity, from cherished folk songs and past Singapore Youth Festival set pieces to works that honour our cultural heritage and racial diversity. Featuring both nostalgic favourites and contemporary compositions, the concert pays tribute to our musical past while looking ahead to the future of choral music in Singapore. It also highlights the people behind the music: those who sing professionally, those who sing for wellness, and those who simply love to sing.

 

Join us in marking this meaningful milestone as we honour six decades of song and look ahead to what Voices of Singapore continues to build: a Singing Singapore.
