Set designer, props maker, even chandelier lead—Allister Towndrow is a jack of all trades, master of many. With over a decade of experience in the entertainment and theatre industry, he has built sets, crafted props, rigged lights and kept productions running safely behind the scenes. He even toured with the Phantom of the Opera as Head of Props and Chandelier Lead—a role few can claim!

Allister’s latest challenge is recreating the set for the children’s show Tiger Tale and Playful Tiger, a production coming all the way from the UK to Singapore for March On 2026. Using 10 years of technical expertise, alongside people, budget and time management skills, he works to rebuild the set exactly as envisioned by creators, Barrowland Ballet.
