About Nancy Yuen

Nancy Yuen has made the title role of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly her signature role since her debut with the Welsh National Opera upon her graduation from London’s Royal Academy of Music, giving more than 200 performances in opera houses all over the world. Other famous operatic roles she has sung include Violetta, Tosca, Aida, Liu, Mimi and Desdemona. Since 2010, Yuen has been the Head of Vocal Studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She has also been Artistic Director of Singapore Lyric Opera since 2015.
