Synopsis
The Tanjong Katong Girls’ School Symphonic Band presents an evening of music that celebrates growth, resilience and the joy of making music together. Through a diverse selection of works, this concert showcases the dedication and musical journey of its student musicians.
The programme opens with the energetic Flight of the Thunderbird, showcasing the band’s vibrant and dynamic sound. As the evening unfolds, audiences will experience a variety of musical colours and styles, from familiar melodies to lively and expressive works that highlight the versatility of the band.
A special feature of the concert includes performances by student ensembles, highlighting the dedication and development of individual sections within the band. These moments allow young musicians to step forward and share their musical voices while contributing to the collective spirit of the ensemble.
The concert concludes with the heartfelt If We Hold On Together, a timeless reminder that perseverance, hope, and unity can carry us through even the most challenging moments.
Bringing the arts to communities in need through Limelight
Half of the ticket proceeds will go toward supporting Esplanade’s community engagement programmes which bring the arts to at-risk youth, the elderly, people with special needs and other underserved communities.

For every 20 student tickets purchased per performance, one complimentary teacher ticket will be issued.

When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.
For free programmes, any cancellations or postponements will be updated on the event website and/or relevant official communication channels. As no tickets are issued, refunds do not apply.
