Anandha Kondaattam 2025 - Singapore Indian Traditional Folk Arts Festival
Synopsis
Experience the vibrant spirit of Singapore’s Indian traditional folk arts at the highly anticipated outdoor performance, Anandha Kondaattam! Returning with a new theme of gratitude and celebration, the festival showcases over 20 traditional art forms in a lively, festive atmosphere.
Building on its record-breaking debut in 2024 with over 18,000 attendees, this year’s edition pays tribute to the resilience and cultural heritage of the Indian community that has shaped Singapore’s multicultural identity for more than six decades. From lively folk music beats to captivating dances from across India, the showcase highlights forgotten heritage and traditions that integrate communities, bridge generations and foster a deep sense of belonging.
Featuring over 150 dancers and musicians from Singapore and India—including electrifying acts like rap-infused Chenda Melam and Urumi Melam by Singapore’s own Yung Raja. Don't miss Singaattam (#SingatamSG), a communal dance that invites everyone to join in the celebration and move with the performers.
Come vibe, celebrate, and feel the pulse of Indian folk arts under the open sky!
