Synopsis
From 2 – 18 Sep 2026, the Story Keeper will be journeying to schools across Singapore, leaving behind M.A.I.L—the Mailbox of Authentic and Imaginative Letters.
Now it's your turn to become a Story Builder through this story-making creative engagement!
Create imaginative stories and send them through the M.A.I.L. Your letters will travel to The Story Keeper's Room, where they will be read on Children’s Day, 2 Oct.
These stories will be treasured and celebrated together with stories from children across Singapore, showcasing the endless power of every child's imagination!
Artists’ Message for Teachers
With the rise of A.I., we want to continue to value and celebrate children’s authentic and imaginative voices through the art of story creation and storytelling.
In this short, 15–20-minute creative engagement session, designed to take place during students’ free time (i.e., during recess, before CCA, etc.), students will work with Teaching Artists to create their own mini stories through stimuli, side coaching and creative prompts.
With a mailbox popping up in the school library, we hope to create an immersive experience that surprises students! We hope this sparks the beginning of their storytelling journey as they encounter the mailbox and engage with Teaching Artists who will be in role as characters.
