Synopsis

Izyanti Asa’ari and Nick Bong explore the worldbuilding that a poem might embody once it is fleshed out with evocative soundscapes.

Featuring poems from blood/work: ALLTHETIME02, a folio on the many afterlives we go through in the act of grieving, this intimate set recalls the earth-body works of Cuban-American artist Ana Mendieta, while taking on notions of renewal, transformation and being. Perhaps, to be animal, plant and mineral all at once, all the time.

Izyanti Asa’ari

Instagram

Izyanti Asa’ari is a writer and designer. Her poetry explores how narratives, behaviours and built environments shape our inner lives—probing the gestures the body makes, willingly or otherwise, in response to place, memory and myth.

Nick Bong

Instagram

Nick Bong expresses himself through a wide spectrum of sound; in this iteration, an unspooling of dreamlike phrasing and ambient notes. His productions are as meticulously thought out as his DJ sets, striking a fine balance for layering and analogue wizardry.
