Stones
Synopsis
weird aftertaste explores Stones. Taking Christian Wolff’s iconic experimental music composition as a point of departure, this naturally found material becomes the central medium for the crafting of austere, immersive sonic landscapes. A ritual of resonance that explores the delicate interplay between sound and silence, as each impact or action reveals the elemental materiality of stone in sound, inviting intense listening, reflection and discovery.
Presented here in extended duration, the performance invites listeners to explore freely, entering and leaving the sonic field at will.
