Synopsis

Zygnema is one of India’s premier metal acts, with over 18 years of shaping the nation’s local metal scene. The band has performed more than 500 shows across India and internationally. Over the years, Zygnema has represented India on prestigious stages such as Wacken Open Air (2012), Inferno Metal Fest (2013), Silence Festival in Nepal (2013), and Metal for Nepal (2015). More recently, in 2024, they made notable appearances at Indian festivals including Bangalore Open Air, Outrage Festival in Delhi, and Scarfest.

 

The band has won multiple awards, including three accolades from the Rolling Stone Metal Awards. In 2019, Zygnema curated a 16-city European tour and are also the founders of India’s most popular club festival, Scarfest. They have headlined major festivals across India, sharing the stage with renowned acts such as Megadeth, Fear Factory, Kreator, Decapitated, Opeth and Textures, among others.
