Trio De Tango

Synopsis

Tango holds a special place in the world’s musical heritage. Born in one part of the world, it crossed borders long ago to become a truly international phenomenon.

Originating in cafes and bars, it has transformed into an acclaimed arts movement, amplified by Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla. Today, tango is performed at the best concert halls across the globe and since 2009, has been included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

Trio de Tango returns to Esplanade for an evening of beloved tango favourites, as three musicians come together once again to share their passion for the genre.
