Synopsis
Mediocre Haircut Crew (MHC) is a Singapore hip hop trio formed in 2015 by omarKENOBI, mickeyLEANO and daniKIDDO, three friends who met in polytechnic and bonded over making music with internet beats and a cheap microphone. Bridging different styles of hip hop, from boom bap to trap and everything in between, their unique indie hip hop sound is completed with their no-holds-barred lyricism. The group boasts a dedicated following thanks to their charismatic stage presence and high-energy live performances, as well as their original songs from projects like The MHC EP (2017) and The MHC Mixtape (2020).
The years may have past but MHC’s chemistry and authenticity certainly has not—don’t miss this comeback performance at Baybeats 2026!
