Synopsis
Locus Amoenus, or “An Ideal Place”, deals with the themes of Identity, wandering, and longing. Born out of feeling othered in a supposed ideal place, pianist Saki Sakai and tenor Zachary Dominguez take listeners on a journey everyone is familiar with, finding where Home could possibly be, told through the songs of Franz Schubert, Henri Duparc, Benjamin Britten, and Singapore’s own Chen Zhangyi.
