Synopsis

Australian concert pianist James Dekleva presents a solo piano recital at Esplanade Recital Studio. Known for his passionate and insightful interpretations, Dekleva brings a unique energy to the stage - balancing technical brilliance with a deep sense of storytelling.

Anchored by Schubert’s monumental Wanderer Fantasy, the program journeys through serenity and turbulence, echoing the voices of dreamers, seekers, and romantics. Works by Chopin and Thalberg further illuminate the elegance, charm, and drama of the Romantic Era.
