This full-length production is a powerful meditation on ecological collapse and human endurance. It imagines a world where the earth is fractured — physically, socially, and spiritually — yet still carries within it the persistence of life and memory.

The work brings together dancers from Flamenco Sin Fronteras alongside invited contemporary performers Pang Xin Yi and Gong Wen Xuan, with dancers from Dancin Plus and Bungee Plus, forming an ensemble that bridges flamenco's raw intensity and contemporary dance's poetic fluidity. The choreography moves between intensity and stillness, evoking both destruction and renewal.

The musical landscape is composed by Robert Casteels, with Spanish flamenco guitarist José Ismael Sierra, flutist Rodrigo Parejo, Taiwanese flamenco vocalist Chen Po-Yin, and Singaporean percussionist Lalit Kumar. This layered sonic environment blends traditional flamenco textures with contemporary sound design, creating a score that reflects instability, fragmentation, and moments of fragile harmony.

Costumes are designed and handmade by Flamenco by Irene, built from clothing once loved or discarded — taken apart and rebuilt into something that can move and tell new stories.

Premiering at the Esplanade Theatre Studio in October 2026, the work positions itself as both an artistic statement and a reflection on shared global vulnerability. It asks what it means to remain human in a world under strain, and whether resilience can still be found within systems on the edge of collapse.

Many voices. One question.

Not one story, but many — told at once. This contemporary flamenco production gathers artists, dancers, and musicians from Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, and Spain, each offering an original performance fragment on the forces shaping tomorrow: artificial intelligence, environmental uncertainty, shifting identity, and the search for human connection.

Rooted in flamenco's rhythm and raw emotional force, each artist reinterprets the form through their own cultural lens — heritage meeting experimentation, discipline meeting improvisation. Nothing here resolves neatly; audiences are invited into the tension itself, watching different futures unfold side by side.

The production closes where flamenco began. Dancer Macarena López and pianist and singer Pérez Vera, both from Sevilla — the birthplace of the art form — join the company for the closing of the production, completing the circle between where flamenco started and where it is heading. Presented in collaboration with Turespaña, Sevilla City Office – Turismo de Sevilla, and the Embassy of Spain in Singapore.
