Synopsis

Yo-Yo Ma – legendary cellist, global personality, Time 100 and Gramophone Hall of Fame honoree, United Nations Messenger of Peace, recipient of countless awards including 19 Grammies – makes his highly anticipated return to Singapore with this solo recital at the Esplanade.

  • This concert is recommended for ages 7 and above.

  • Parents or guardians of children who become disruptive during the performance may be requested by venue staff to step out of the hall with the child.

  • Each individual must have a ticket for admission.

  • Strictly no admission for infant-in-arms and toddlers.

 

Admission / Re-admission

  • You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.

  • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

 

Photography / Recording Restrictions

  • Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing.

  • These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos. Photographs and videos will be taken at the event in which you may appear. Such photographs and videos may be displayed or published on SSO’s website, social media platforms, publications and publicity materials. By attending the event, you consent to the use of these photographs and videos for the foregoing purposes.

When a show is cancelled, ticket buyers will be duly notified by the event organiser primarily via email. You may also be notified through the event organiser's authorised ticketing agent, media or any other applicable communication channels. Information will be provided on where and when you can get your refund. For postponed performances for which the date of the new performance is known, refunds are optional.

For free programmes, any cancellations or postponements will be updated on the event website and/or relevant official communication channels. As no tickets are issued, refunds do not apply.
