(Intermission: None)
Esplanade Recital Studio

This event is over.
Co-developed by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay with applied theatre practitioner and counsellor Rosie McGowan, INTERMISSION is a programme that supports the wellbeing of those in the arts. An intermission allows performers to sustain themselves in a long show. Similarly, the programme aims to provide a safe space for the arts and creative community to reflect, connect, and learn tools for their wellbeing.
On the first day of INTERMISSION, join Nikki Disney from The Artist Wellbeing Company (UK) for a powerful and grounding talk that explores:
What purpose and meaning look like in a creative life
How to balance artistic passion with self-care and sustainability
Practical tools to manage stress, burnout, and the demands of both work and life
This session is specially designed for those in the arts, followed by an afternoon networking tea.
Participants are welcome to join either or both days of INTERMISSION. Click to find out more about Day 2.
For any enquiries, please email engage@esplanade.com.
The session includes a networking tea. Vegetarian and halal options will be available.
Tickets are available for booking on a first-come, first-served basis. Should the event be fully subscribed, limited tickets may be made available when ticket-holders return their tickets. If you did not manage to get tickets, do check this event page regularly to see if tickets are available.
If you have successfully registered for this event but unable to join us, you may pass your e-ticket(s) to someone else or return them via the link on your SISTIC confirmation email.
