Synopsis

INTERMISSION | A Performing Arts Well-Being Day is a new programme co-developed with applied theatre practitioner and counsellor Rosemary McGowan, in response to the mental health challenges performing artists may face during the pandemic. An intermission allows performers to sustain themselves in a long show. Similarly, the programme aims to create an ‘intermission’ for artists to better sustain their career, and for their mental well-being.

This one-day programme for artists and practitioners in the performing arts will take participants through sessions at various venues around Esplanade, where they will use the arts to explore the themes of Reflect, Recharge and Regroup.

Places are limited to facilitate meaningful engagement during the programme. Please register your interest via the online form and we'll let you know via email if you have been successful as soon as we can.

For any enquiries, please email engage@esplanade.com.
