A whimsical crime caper full of mystery and romantic drama, The Ostrich of Kampong Glam investigates a comically bizarre question: Did an ostrich really escape captivity and wander around Singapore years ago? Or is it just an auntie’s tale?

Kane Wheatley-Holder is a Singaporean writer, content creator and performer with over 15 years of experience in entertainment and media. A self-professed child at heart, his storytelling career spans diverse projects including short stories, television series, narrative podcasts, animations for preschoolers, games, brand campaigns, and more.
Wheatley-Holder has a keen interest in creating content for families, and is an international winner of Cartoon Network’s SNAPTOONS pitch competition as well as a finalist of its Imagination Studios pitch programme. He is the current Vice President of Singapore’s Screenwriters Association, and also works as creative content lead for a parent-child psychology technology platform.
