Available positions
The Assistant Manager, Arts Marketing will be required to benchmark marketing communications strategies, including advertising & promotions and media relations for Esplanade Presents programmes and activities against the best practices in the field of marketing communications to create public awareness and maximise attendance, ticket sales and revenue for the Company.
Key Responsibilities
To develop, plan and drive marketing strategies for Esplanade Presents programmes, collaborations and activities in order to build support, generate publicity, optimise campaign performance and maximise attendance and revenue. These activities encompass but are not limited to

Work with designers on development of key visuals and publicity materials including brochures and posters, digital banners, out-of-home and broadcast advertisements, onsite décor, etc for the assigned portfolio and Content team to brainstorm social ideas and storyboarding for production of publicity videos.
Work with Marketing Services team to ensure alignment of overall brand strategy with marketing goals, and adherence of brand guidelines and editorial house style.
Pricing and Yield Management including recommending appropriate ticket pricing and income projections for events in the assigned portfolio and monitoring ticket sales to ensure optimization of yield.
Plan and manage the budget for Esplanade Presents programmes to minimize costs and maximise revenues and profits, and adhere to the allocated budgets.
Develop and maintain a reliable pool of suppliers that to provide Esplanade the best products and services that will maximise budgets. These include media agencies, design agencies, writers/translators, video editors, production houses, printers, etc.
Conduct market research and competitive intelligence, keeping up to date with market trends, understanding programmes and approach of key competitors.
Implement market/audience research, analyse and gain insights to better understand customer behavior.
Identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvements to effectively reach out and convert new audiences.
Establish a network of media contacts and marketing partners to maximise publicity for Esplanade and the programmes.
Work with Marketing Engagement team to engage with various audience segments (families, schools, youths, seniors) through performances and events. This aims to cultivate a strong affinity with Esplanade and encourage individuals from these groups to become regular patrons.
Coordinate with Customer Experience (Ticketing) team and appointed ticketing agent for the event configuration of ticket sales or registration launch.
Support the streaming of digital content on social and video platforms.
The Customer Experience department seeks to provide the highest standards of service to all Esplanade’s patrons, ensuring a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all.
The role of the Executive, Customer Experience is to assist the Customer Experience (CX) Management team in the smooth running of front-of-house services, to be an exemplary role model to other members of staff.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations

Perform the role of Venue Officer (as scheduled) for events and activities
-
Oversee event operations, ensuring all events and activities are carried out in accordance with venue procedures and service standards.

Attend pre-event briefings, recces, and planning meetings; consolidate and communicate the information and requirements to ECs.

Assist in managing foyer board installations and flyer displays around the centre.
-
Assist the managers in overseeing the end-to-end operations of the CX department, ensuring consistent delivery of service excellence across all touchpoints.

Ensure Customer Experience Officers and casual staff maintain proper etiquette & good practices.

Perform regular checks and ensure the proper upkeep and appearance of public areas.

Ensure compliance with safety measures and emergency procedures during performances and events.

Conduct daily briefing keeping the team updated on performance-related matters, information and issues affecting the centre

Manage Customer Feedback

Respond to problems on-site including medical and other emergencies, patrons’ dissatisfaction as well as operational issues.
Staff Management & Training

Manage and supervise casual/ outsourced staff during performances and events.

Ensure that staff deployment always meet service deliverables in all areas and for all events.
Management of Ticket Sales and Related Counter Services

Manage sales of SISTIC tickets and handle all related enquiries at the Visitor Centre (Box Office & information counter).

Conduct daily checks on disbursement of refunds to patrons for show cancellations or postponements.

Conduct daily checks on sales reconciliation for tour, box office transactions, promotional redemptions etc.

Balance sales reconciliation and manage change float.

Assist patrons with general enquiries, Mall promotion redemptions, manage the lost & found items.
Tour

Conduct tours

Manage and respond to tour-related queries.

Schedule manpower for tour guides.

Liaise with vendors and related internal departments for tours.
Administrative Support

Manage Usher Management System (UMS), providing events information for the system

Conduct weekly Event Calendar Review (ECR) checks.

Prepare labour costing, including Festival labour costing and ad hoc requests

Handle manpower requests from other departments, including hosting, hirer’s requests, Community Engagement activities, sponsor-related activities etc.

Manage day-to-day calls from usher (e.g., drop slots & other usher concerns) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Assist with the Contact Centre

Manage patron queries, both internal and external, via hotline and email.

Prepare and process EBMS billing and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities

Support Arts Marketing team on marketing of selected Esplanade’s programmes (festivals/series/collaborations/free programmes) including web content administration, social media content preparation, creative assets production, and paid media support

Marketing partnership including liaising with partners, regular posting of events to free event listing sites and submit event information to partners/ platforms to publicise the events.

Support the marketing of Monthly Free Programmes and Visual Arts exhibition marketing
The Manager, Marketing (Digital) will support the organisation’s broader digital strategy while leading the end-to-end management, development and continuous optimisation of the website platform. The role will drive the website’s evolution as a core digital product by defining its roadmap, prioritising enhancements and delivering improvements across user experience, functionality, accessibility, performance and system integration. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the website meets audience needs, supports business objectives and delivers measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Website Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Lead website product vision, strategy and roadmap, aligned with organisational priorities, audience needs and the wider digital ecosystem.
- Conduct product discovery through research, analytics, stakeholder engagement and customer feedback.
- Translate validated audience and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, balancing audience value, strategic importance, effort, dependencies and operational risks.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for major website investments and enhancements.
End-to-End Product Delivery
- Manage the full website product lifecycle from discovery and requirements definition through design, development, testing, deployment, adoption and post-launch evaluation.
- Lead cross-functional delivery involving UX/UI, content, analytics, marketing, IT, CX, ticketing partners and external vendors including website enhancements, product governance and managing release, training and post-launch support.
Website Operations and Continuous Improvement
- Oversee business-as-usual website operations, enhancement requests, defect management and vendor support including coordinating website readiness for major campaigns, festivals, ticketing launches and high-traffic periods.
- Use analytics, user feedback, heatmaps, search behaviour and usability findings to identify improvement opportunities.
Integrations and Digital Ecosystem
- Coordinate business and user requirements for integrations with systems including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, ticketing, membership and customer data platform.
- Assess the user and operational impact of integration changes, data dependencies and system enhancements.
- Maintain visibility of key website dependencies, risks and integration requirements.
- Review and propose processes to improve efficiency, productivity for systems and accountability.
Performance and Impact Reporting
- Define success measures and analytics requirements before new features and enhancements are developed.
- Establish baselines and evaluate whether website improvements deliver intended audience, operational and business outcomes.
- Report on product impact, including feature adoption, user friction addressed, operational efficiencies, roadmap delivery and stakeholder value.
Vendor, Budget and Governance
- Manage website vendors and partners against agreed deliverables, service levels, timelines and quality expectations.
- Monitor website budgets, quotations, change requests and resource requirements.
- Support procurement, contract management and vendor performance reviews.
- Maintain product documentation, operating procedures, decision logs and knowledge-transfer materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and execute arts programmes and seasons as part of Esplanade’s calendar of festivals, series and projects including conceptualizing and recommending feasible programmes for the arts centre.
- Work closely with and negotiate with Artists, Artist’s managers/producers/agents in the planning and execution of the programme and be the main point of contact representing Esplanade in negotiations, planning and execution.
- Work closely with Marketing & Development teams with regards to publicity, and marketing plans involving sponsorship, box office, for all relevant programmes to maximise publicity, sale of tickets as well as revenue from all sources.
- Liaise with Operational departments such as Technical Production, Logistics and relevant depts, ensuring smooth implementation and execution of programmes.
- Supervise relevant artist liaison officers / project assistants /interns working on the assigned projects.
- Be an internal resource on artists and performing arts forms including keeping abreast of trends and current happenings in performing arts in the local and international arts scene.
- Budgeting for arts activities, performances or exhibitions including forecast on expected returns (if applicable), tracking costs and expenditure ensuring that they are within the budgets.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating policies and procedures manuals for presentation and commissioning of arts performances and running of the department
- Support local arts groups or artists in the presentations of their work in the Esplanade including promoting and encouraging activities/programmes that will increase and develop audience appreciation of the arts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Initiation and Alignment
- Lead and define the project scope, objectives, success criteria, business outcomes, key performance indicators (KPIs), deliverables, and implementation milestones for the AI-powered Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project.
- Ensure all business and technical requirements are clearly defined, measurable, complete, and sufficiently detailed to support an open tender process and enable effective vendor delivery.
Business & Operational Requirements Gathering
- Engage stakeholders across all business units by organizing data discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and user engagement sessions to elicit, analyze, and document business and operational requirements, including reporting and analytics needs, KPIs and performance measurement requirements, operational workflows, and data usage.
- Consolidate stakeholder inputs into comprehensive project documentation, including the Business Requirements Document (BRD), functional requirements, and use cases.
- Validate key aspects of the solution, including data flow from source systems to reporting outputs, data integration, data quality, governance, and analytics use cases (such as reports and dashboards), ensuring AI and analytics use cases are business-driven, clearly defined, and measurable outcomes.
Tender and Vendor Management
- Plan and manage the end-to-end open tender process for the procurement of a turnkey AI-powered Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution, including the preparation of comprehensive tender documentation covering the project scope, functional requirements, deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, and vendor performance expectations.
- Act as the single point of accountability for vendor performance and management, providing overall oversight to ensure the successful delivery of the AI-powered Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project according to project milestones, delivery timelines, quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Review and validate all deliverables against the approved business requirements, tender specifications, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure compliance with project objectives.
Data Governance, Privacy and Responsible use of AI
- Ensure data governance, data quality, information security, cybersecurity, and personal data protection such as Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) are clearly captured in the business requirements, tender specifications, and vendor contract.
Key Responsibilities
Building Operations
- Carry out routine inspection / maintenance of general building maintenance works carried out by appointed contractors.
- Assist to call for quotations, recommend contractors and supervise contractors work on the ground.
- Manage vendor contracts for maintenance, pest management and landscaping
- Communicate and coordinate with all affected parties inclusive of tenants.
- Assist with operations-related administrative documentation, including preparing, organizing and maintaining records required for building services activities. Ensuring all work meets the standards and delivers according to approved scope of work.
- Always ensuring Fire Safety and Health & Safety compliance.
Mall / Tenant Services
- To respond to feedback and operational issues with tenants.
- Support tenants in the mall, overseeing their needs related to their hired space and ensuring that they are satisfied with the support from Esplanade.
- Manage onboarding of new tenants such as managing tenants fit-out, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, collection of PE submissions, Permit to Work and other documents, co-ordination of procedures, schedules and account opening for utilities.
- Manage tenants’ offboarding relating to reinstatement of the hired space.
Administration
- Collection and review of required service reports and permits i.e. Exhaust Servicing, Air Con Servicing, Floor Trap Servicing and Pest Control reports and Permit for Works.
- Provide inputs and ensure that Policies & Processes, Standard Operating Procedures, Handbooks / Information Kits are up-to-date and disseminated/conveyed to tenants and relevant parties when necessary.
- Email circulation of notices / road closure advisories and upcoming events to tenants and relevant parties.
- Use all customer relationship management databases in a highly-disciplined manner, specifically for accurate and timely input of information into CRM.
- Maintain organised filing and records of tenants’ services and operations matters.
- Provide relevant information or compile management reports and papers as and when necessary.
