About Seniwati Dayang Sofia
Born in Miri, Sarawak, Dayang Sofia is the epitome of beauty and grace. A regular face in classic Malay films from the 1950s to the 1970s, Dayang made her debut on the silver screen in Bujang Lapok which featured P Ramlee, Aziz Sattar and S Samsudin. Other classic movies to her name include Anak Pontianak, Megat Terawis, Tiga Abdul and Sayang Si Buta.
About Seniwati Normah Zainal
Normah Zainal, a movie star and idol singer in the ’60s starred alongside Tan Sri Jins Shamsuddin in Kaca Permata, a film directed by Dato Jamil Sulong and produced by Shaw Brothers. Normah also sang theme song in the film Play Boy accompanied by the band Les Kafilas and recorded Chumbu Rayu from the movie Ago-go 67 with The Blue Beats.
