Enjoy an afternoon with cellist Loke Hoe Kit, who presents a delightful and diverse programme of cello music ranging from Bach to Richard Strauss. Hoe Kit will be accompanied by pianist Khor Shang Jin.

Loke Hoe Kit has been described by The Straits Times as “probably the most visible local cellist to emerge” from his generation. He studied at Mannes College of Music, New York, and Southern Methodist University, Dallas, and was a protégé of esteemed cellist Nathaniel Rosen. Hoe Kit's recent performances include concerto appearances with the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra and the Korea Symphony Orchestra in Seoul.

Pianist Khor Shang Jin was a recipient of the Helen Cohn Award as an outstanding graduate of Manhattan School of Music's Doctor of Musical Arts programme. An active soloist and chamber musician, she has performed in numerous venues around the world and garnered top prizes in the National Piano and Violin Competition and the 9th Hong Kong Open Piano Competition.
