The highly acclaimed and well-loved Yellow River Cantata is without doubt one of the greatest achievements depicted in song and music, to mark the struggles during the 2nd World War, more than 60 years ago.  This Cantata was composed by the late Xian Xing Hai in 1939 during the war.
The Yellow River Cantata started as a passionate hatred towards War, but has gradually moved towards a moving call for World Peace.  Ever since its inception, it has been sung in many countries all over the world, including Russia, Canada, USA, Philippines, Taiwan and China.
Cao Ding is the top national conductor of the People's Republic of China and the group is proud to have him conduct the Yellow River Cantata here in Singapore.

The movement of eight pieces is sung by a 300 strong choir comprising nine choir groups, six from Singapore and three from Malaysia.  Backed by the Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yan Yin Wing, this is an unforgettable event you would not want to miss.
Performed in Mandarin.
