Miyuki Washimiya started playing piano at the age of seven and graduated from YOHO Music Academy. Since winning the 56th Japan Music Competition, she has won further prizes in many other international piano competitions and was also chosen as the best pianist of Tours Summer International Music Academy two years in a row. Besides performing at many music festivals, Miyuki is a regular pianist at Kyoto Academy and also performs regularly at TOHO Music Academy.
