Sun Huang, the foremost erhu player of her generation, is the first prize winner of almost every major professional international erhu competition. Winner of the 2002 National China Erhu Competition, the 2002 Dragon’s Cup competition, the 2007 Golden Bell Competition and more recently the 2009 CCTV Folk Music competition, Sun Huang’s technique, tone and artistry has been admired by audiences round the world. For two nights only, The TENG Company brings Sun Huang to Singapore for two rare and breathtaking solo recitals. She will be accompanied by Qu Dawei on the piano.
